We use the blower-door test which gives us the HERS® Index. The Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Index is the nationally recognized system for inspecting and calculating a home’s energy performance. A home built to code is around 100 on the HERS Index, while our homes average around 40, making them about 60% more energy efficient than other new homes.
Our homes come standard with an advanced water protection system in place to prevent flooding, seepage, and any unwanted moisture to curb mold growth and also potential structural damage.
Low emission materials. Radon mitigation system. Sealed combustion appliances that vent directly outdoors. Meticulous insulation, air sealing, and improved ventilation increases air flow and reduces gases and particulates.
The foundation walls and the basement slab are fully insulated with rigid XPS foam. Dense pack cellulose insulation is installed throughout the home and blown-in cellulose is in the attic. High efficiency doors and triple pane windows top it off making these homes about 60% more efficient than the typical new construction builds.
We have 58 different quality control checks that are standard procedure in our project management platform. Not only from our on-site supervisors, but from our construction manager and director as well to ensure unparalleled quality of our homes.
We provide a 1-year all inclusive warranty that covers the entirety of the home. A 2-year mechanical warranty, and a 10-year exterior warranty on all homes.
